This species group contains a single species, D. repletoides, which is found in China and Japan (Baechli, 2005). Throckmorton (1975) places this species in the virilis-repleta radiation. Tatarenkov and Ayala (2001) suggest that this species may be outside of the virilis-repleta radiation (Figure 1.11). Additional work should be done to clarify the affinities of this taxon.
